 Local First Response Teams Conducted Practice Exercises in Assisted Living Building Prior to Demolition

 Arlington Heights, Ill. – March 21, 2018 – Last weekend, The Moorings of Arlington Heights hosted local first response teams in its vacant assisted living building, prior to that structure’s demolition, so that first responders could practice life-saving drills and other exercises in the empty building before it is razed. The community has already donated household appliances, furniture and fixtures to Habitat for Humanity.

Construction Complete on 70 New Assisted Living Apartments and a Chapel

Arlington Heights, Ill. – February 2, 2018 – Yesterday, The Moorings of Arlington Heights, a Presbyterian Homes community, celebrated the grand opening of The Highlands, its new assisted living building. The $70M expansion project, which broke ground in June 2016, includes the construction of 70 new assisted living apartments, as well the Odean Johnson chapel/fellowship hall, a brand-new addition to The Moorings campus. Twenty additional assisted living/memory support apartments are slated for completion next year.
