The Moorings of Arlington Heights Promotes Marie Lanza, Sales Veteran to Head Marketing Department of Presbyterian Homes Community

Arlington Heights, Ill. – March 28, 2017 – Today, The Moorings of Arlington Heights announced Marie Lanza, a sales veteran with 20+ years of experience, is the community’s new head of sales and marketing. In this role, Lanza will oversee all sales and marketing, manage a staff of sales counselors, and work with community leadership to welcome new residents following the completion of its $70M expansion project.

Lanza, who has been on the sales team at The Moorings for five years and is a veteran of the senior living, medical, hospitality and other industries, has worked in sales for more than 20 years. Prior to joining The Moorings, Lanza was a sales counselor at The Park at Olympia Fields, a Horizon Bay/Brookdale Senior Living community. Before that, she worked in patient services for Central DuPage Hospital and in guest services at The Marriott in Hoffman Estates, and spent many years successfully selling B2B and B2C graphics solutions for Canon, Minolta and others.

Lanza, a resident of Bloomingdale, Ill., has completed business and marketing courses at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Ill. She is extremely tech-savvy, which is a huge plus in this digital age, and is a certified dementia care practitioner.

“Marie is the ideal person to lead The Moorings as the community enters an exciting new chapter,” said Lisa Vandermark, executive director of The Moorings of Arlington Heights, referring to the construction of the community’s new chapel, 70 assisted living apartments, and 20 memory care apartments, all scheduled to be completed in phases over the next two years. “Her track record is impressive and extensive knowledge of sales and marketing runs deep. We are delighted to welcome her to her new position.”
