Chicago-Area Life Plan Communities All Earn “Seal of Excellence”  

 Evanston, Ill. – September 22, 2016 – Today, Presbyterian Homes, the senior living organization with Life Plan communities in the Chicago suburbs of Evanston, Lake Forest, and Arlington Heights, announced that it has again earned the exclusive CARF accreditation, which it has received consistently since 1990. Presbyterian Homes is only one of seven senior living organizations in the Chicagoland area, and its communities are just three of 2000 nationwide, to earn the CARF seal of excellence.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Commemorates Final Phase of 14 Duplex-Style Residences

Lake Forest, Ill. – August 2, 2016 – Today, Lake Forest Place, a Presbyterian Homes community, celebrated the final phase of construction for Chalmers Court, which consists of 14 new duplex-style luxury residences that are already more than 30% presold and are scheduled for completion in the Fall 2016.   

Presbyterian Homes Community Breaks Ground on 90 New Assisted Living Units and Chapel/Fellowship Hall

Arlington Heights, Ill. – June 6, 2016 – On Friday June 3, The Moorings of Arlington Heights, the Presbyterian Homes community, broke ground on a $70M expansion project that will include construction of a new chapel/fellowship hall and 70 additional assisted living apartments, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2017, and 20 new assisted living / memory support apartments, which are slated for completion the following year.

Woman’s Board Awards Educational Funds to Committed Staffer

Evanston, Ill. – March 21, 2016 – Today, the Woman’s Board of Presbyterian Homes announced that the first-ever Elizabeth Breuer Memorial Scholarship, which will be granted periodically by a special committee to worthy employees of Westminster Place, was awarded to Xiaoli (Lily) Zhou, the full-time nurse at The Frank B. Foster Pavilion for Memory Care on the Westminster Place campus, the Presbyterian Homes community in Evanston.

EVANSTON (March 17, 2015)—Presbyterian Homes is now offering its Ten Twenty Grove independent senior living community in downtown Evanston as a rental property. The nine-story apartment building at Oak and Grove Street offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments with full kitchens starting at $1900 a month, including utilities and basic cable.
